Delete Your Account

You can delete your LinguaBridge account and all data associated with it at any time. You choose how.

Two ways to delete

Either way, your profile disappears from the app immediately: nobody can find you, message you or see your posts.

• Delete in 20 days (recoverable). Your data is kept, hidden, for 20 days and then permanently erased automatically. If you change your mind, sign back in before the window closes and your account is restored exactly as it was.
• Delete permanently (immediate). Everything is destroyed on the spot — photos, messages, posts, stamps, Corks. There is no undo and no way for us to recover any of it.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open LinguaBridge and go to Profile → Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Choose Delete in 20 days or Delete permanently.

Option 2 — By email

If you can no longer access the app, email [email protected] from the email address registered to your account with the subject "Delete my LinguaBridge account". We complete deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, photos, bio, languages, and prompt answers.
• All your messages, conversations, community posts, and comments.
• Your Cork wallet and transaction history.
• Your safety records (reports and block lists).
• Your account credentials and login identities.

No data is retained after deletion, except records we are legally required to keep (none under normal circumstances).

Partial deletion

If you only want to remove specific content (for example a photo or a post) rather than the whole account, you can do that directly in the app without deleting your account.
