Terms of Service

By creating a LinguaBridge account you agree to these terms.

1. The service

LinguaBridge connects people who want to practice languages together through chat, community posts, and voice/video calls. Some features (such as video calls) consume a virtual currency called Corks; Corks have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded except where required by law.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Community rules

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content directed at other users.
• No spam, scams, or requests for money.
• No impersonation or fake profiles.
• Respect other users' decision to block you or end a conversation.

4. Moderation and enforcement

We use a combination of user reports, blocks, and automated systems to enforce these rules. Accounts that receive multiple independent reports or blocks may be automatically suspended for 72 hours; repeated violations lead to a permanent ban. We may remove content that violates these terms. 5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us the limited license needed to store and display your content to the people you share it with. You must have the right to share anything you upload.

6. Corks and purchases

Corks are granted through in-app bonuses and, when available, purchases through Google Play. Consumed Corks (for example, for a completed video call) are not refundable. Unused purchased Corks are refundable only as required by applicable law and Google Play policy.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We are not a party to conversations between users and cannot guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated translations or suggestions. Never share financial information with other users.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms as described in section 4.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at this address.
